The world's only statue of Abe Lincoln and a pig. The sculpture commemorates Lincoln's bemused request for a "writ of quietus" to calm noisy pigs gathered under the courthouse floor. The "Last Stop" refers to the location on the old 8th Judicial Circuit.

Burial Site of "Kay" The Circus Elephant

Grave and marker of "Kay" of Carson and Barnes Circus and Al G. Kelly and Miller Bros. Circus died Oct. 21, 1994. This is only the second elephant buried in illinois.

This memorial commemorates Troy Grove as the birthplace of James Butler "Wild Bill" Hickok (1837-1876). A plaque on the granite monument honors Hickok as "a scout and spy in the western states to preserve the Union in the Civil War".
